... M an architect by profession... it includes designing buildings, residences, etc. etc....i.e. designing a SPACE... i feel we are somewhere stuck with the concept of having box like structures... i.e. vertical walls and horizontal or sloping roofs ..or slabs....i.e. the spaces dat we design r soo restricted to verticals and horizontals..... which is sooo monotonus..... ..here in this painting i have tried to play with the bands and create completly different spaces which flows into eachother... imagin as if u r walking on one of da bands in the painting and den der r other bands going over it or below it....the play of form, space, light and shadow created here will be very dynamic....and very very different then da same old box like structure...... ...hope i hv not confused u ppl..... :)
